Indiana Wesleyan University decided to further expand its campuses to Lexington because of the growing number of adults from Kentucky entering college to get their diploma. The College of Adult and Professional Studies opened the spacious 8,310 square foot Lexington Education Center in 2005. It has six classrooms and a student lounge area.
This is not your typical sterile, cinder block, tiled floor college classroom building. It has a modern commercial office building feel to it. Students find the modern classrooms and open halls and lounge areas beautifully decorated, carpeted, and extremely comfortable and inviting after a long day at work.
Since classes are held during the evening hours, the classrooms are available during the day for group rentals. There are six classrooms available; each can accommodate up to 28 comfortably in a traditional classroom-style setup or 50 in theatre-style seating.
The rooms are equipped with wireless Internet, phone lines, white boards, and projector screens. If you choose to not carry in your own AV equipment, we will gladly provide ours at a very reasonable rate.
